The rich and protected environment is abundant with wildlife: seals, otters, dolphins, whales, seabirds, moorland grouse, golden and sea eagles, ravens, to name but a few.
Each season provides a new array of wildlife with migratory geese and swans, basking sharks, whales and an abundance of coastal and moorland birds.
There is a colony of seals who regularly play and sunbathe within walking distance of Cnoc Na Ba.
There are several planned guided walks which occur throughout the Summer months and more information on these can be obtaind from either the North Harris Trust or from the West Harris Trust.
