The Weather: The diversity of scenery is endlessly fascinating as is the weather which can range from balmy sunshine to wild invigorating winds, sometimes on the same day. Winter is tempered by the effects of the Gulf stream so there is little snow and frost, but it can be stormy. Harris is an interesting place to visit at all times of the year.
